Unable to use internal microphone while earbuds with microphone are plugged in

I’m using a Legion Y7000-P, which is running Windows 10.

With headphones or earbuds without microphones built in, I’m still able to use the internal microphone without an issue. However, as soon as I plug in a set of earbuds with a microphone built in, I can’t use the internal microphone and my computer forces me to use the earbuds’ internal microphone. The microphone on the earbuds isn’t listed as another device, so I can’t just turn it off.

Somehow, it seems like my computer is “combining” my physical jack and my internal microphone jack whenever I plug my earbuds in. Is it possible to “separate” them?

I’ve seen people able to do something similar to this by going to their Realtek HD Audio Manager and clicking on “advanced settings”, but said button is nowhere to be seen for me.
