I am using a free VPN plugin from Chrome.
After turning it on, when visiting https://whatismyipaddress.com/ I am shown with an IP within the location of the VPN I selected.
However, if I try to get my public IP from command line in Windows:
nslookup myip.opendns.com resolver1.opendns.com
it returns an IP in my true location.
So by the looks of it, only the browser traffic is in the VPN, whilst other requests are not. Why does it happen?
How to let all the requests coming out of my laptop go through the VPN?
