I recently bought a new laptop (Microsoft Surface Pro w/ Snapdragon(R) X 12-core X1E80100 @ 3.40 GHz 3.42 GHz – 64-bit operating system, ARM-based processor). I was hoping to setup a VM running Linux (Kali) to do some lab testing however after attempting to install VMWare Workstation (it failed), I found out that ARM-based processors were not supported by VMWare.
Are there any virtualization options available to me? I’ve looked high and low but it seems that most are either unstable or just not available at all.
