I’m running Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS on a brand-new PC with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and a Radeon 7900XT. I’ve been playing The Finals without issues until recently, but now the system crashes during gameplay.
While playing, my mouse cursor seems to get stuck between my two monitors. Input from my keyboard starts affecting apps on the second monitor (like music controls), but mouse input remains in the game—I can still aim and shoot. After about a minute, the entire system crashes, quits everything, and sends me back to the login screen.
This is a new issue that’s only started happening recently.
