The only app I know that does so is paint.net. Offering to install apps after closing the app is a lot more convenient for the user rather than before they use the app or when they’re not using it. Users wouldn’t want to wait for the installation, which can be a long time depending on the app, and wouldn’t want to go out of their way to install the update when they’re not using the app.
