Why update cart for configurable product gives error? Magento 2

Basically I am getting error We can’t find the quote item after update cart for configurable product. There are no issues in adding item to cart. Also I am not getting any error’s or warnings while adding or updating item to cart through which I can debug and trace the error. I have tried to look it up on internet to find some relevant information but nothing except below references. I also tried below suggestions but no progress it still gives error. I understand this question might not have enough information but If its not clear I am willing to add/update the question or describe in detail.
