In Windows 10 I want to set a a daily alarm. Just a notification pop-up window is enough. I don’t want *this specific alarm * to make any sound. Normally I would open this alarm’s settings in the Clock app and choose None in the sound options dropdown. But in my case the dropdown does not show the None option. It only shows a variety of specific sounds. How do I disable any sound for a specific alarm? I can disable sound for the whole system, but I want to keep sound on for other things and other alarms .
Googling, I saw advice to update sound drivers and the Clock app.
I try “Check for updates” in Windows Update app but it says that all is up to date. (I doubt that sound drivers can prevent the Clock app from offering the None option.)
Not duplicate: There is a similar question that in effect asks how to disable sound for all alarms, but here I want to disable sound for one specific alarm but allow sound for other alarms.
