Windows 10 clean installation sticking loop before reaching set up screen

Lenovo Thinkpad L470 laptop. Windows 10. All well up to a point the computer stuck while I was working in windows environment online.

Forced restart and faced blue screen with Error code 0xc00000f.

Tried to repair using a usb stick start up repair. Didn’t work. Tried fresh installation.

Set the bios setting to both uefi and legacy (uefi priority). Secure boot disabled. No peripheral attached. Just the win usb.

The installation went fine up to a point where I had to delete-format the partition. Didn’t accept new installation on it, because my stick was gpt and the partition was mbr. Couldn’t delete it. Forced restart.

After that whatever I tried the installation sticks to a loop just after the windows “splash” screen (booting from the usb) and an endless spinning of a circle, or a black screen with 3 small spinning circles.

Tried different good usb sticks (an 8 gb capacity and a 16gb one). Tried both legacy and uefi bootable usb stick versions and set up the bios setting accordingly. Same bad results.

Tested the drive for bad sectors. All good.

Any idea for other things to try?
