Followed all pertinent steps, for proper install, 1.Created USB ISO Linuxmint-21.3-mate-64bit (Rufus). 2.Ueifi settings, safe boot disabled,bios set up to choose USB.
3.At restart, hold shift, choose usb device,and usb mint device lights up. Should boot.
4. At this stage it always boots back to win 11. (So question is how do I stop Windows 11 from interfering with my dual boot process? I have a disc set asside for my install when I get to that point. Hoping someone with an HP whom had same problem has a solution to force the computer to install the Linux OS?
