So I have this weird problem when I came back to using my PC after two weeks
Context: I was away from my PC for like two weeks and when I tried launching I was greeted with an activate windows sign which was weird, but I didn’t think any of it, I kept using my pc as normal and decided to run a full virus scan, and I was surprised when it froze my pc and crashed it every single time
Steps I did:
sfc scan
chkdsk
used boot time scan from windows antivirus
used malwarebytes full scan/rootkits, nothing found
launched windows in safe mode, but antivirus wasn’t working, I’ll try that again after I’ve reset my PC and edit if it works
reset my windows as I mentioned and chose keep necessary files as a last resort
still the problem persists, I’m afraid to do a full reset and the problem doesn’t get fixed, hopefully someone here might have an idea on what to do, or what might this be?
note: I’m on Windows 10, antivirus still doesn’t work in safe mode
