Although I was able to download the installation file, HRBlock_Deluxe-State_2025_AD.exe, from H&R Block, and was able to run it to install the application on my PC, with Windows 10 v. 22H2 build 19045.6466 operating system, there are issues making that tax software unusable.

The majority of the main screen is blank.

Most of the submenu items are grayed out, except for Help > About… which shows that the application has not been activated.

There is no way to enter the activation code that was sent with the purchased download.

Despite two calls to H&R Block Online support, totaling about two hours, the support staff could not resolve the issue. The staff were professional and patient, provided additional downloads and activation codes, and walked me through installation, both as user and as Administrator, and with and without antimalware (Windows Defender) enabled. However, on starting the app, it came up empty, as shown above.
Could someone help me resolve that issue?
