Conditional Formatting is highlighting the wrong cells

I would like to highlight a cell if the value is greater than $0.00. However, the conditional formatting is only working part time. Sometimes it works perfectly and other times it’s not reading it correctly and highlights a cell that contains the $0.00. Please help.
