For a Chrome saved “Page as App” on MacOS, is there a way to make the entire Dock icon a specific background?

I’m building a little localhost app and I have saved it as a app using Chrome’s “Install Page As App”. The problem is my favicon is dark background but the dock icon shows up with a white wrapper around it. Can I change that background color? I took a look through the contents of the app package created and I can’t find a setting for that.
