On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, Prime Life Fibers, launched their newly redesigned and replatformed eCommerce website, Eversures.com. At Groove Commerce’s lead, Prime Life Fibers made the switch to the Magento Professional eCommerce platform and underwent a full front-end redesign to boost conversion and improve customer usability.
By switching their backend to the Magento eCommerce platform, Prime Life Fibers will have new dynamic functionalities, as well as a more seamless content management system by which to update the site. “We see this a lot, where a company invests in making their product great, but isn’t able to put the same expertise and effort behind their website. Through this partnership, we were able to provide the expertise of eCommerce and Magento design to a company that is passionate about their product,” said Mack McGee, VP, Sales and Marketing.
Groove Commerce’s redesign was influenced strongly by Eversures.com’s older demographic. “We wanted to be straightforward with the site. Easy to read typefaces, simple product pages and common UI functionality were always on our minds. We wanted visual cues to add credibility to the site, but the ultimate assurance is to be able to move from homepage to checkout confidently,” says Groove’s Senior Designer, Heather Van De Mark. The new design maintains Eversures.com’s signature wave design.
