How do I delete or disable Personal Vault in Windows 11

How do I delete or disable Personal Vault in Windows 11?

I activated it a while back to see if was any use to me. Now I cannot get rid of it. I followed the usual “settings / options / personal vault” menu options, but there is no “disable vault” option.

One of the reasons for getting rid of it is that if I open the vault, then close it before everythinh has synced, I get the BSOD and the PC reboots.

Any ideas?
