How to create a smart Excel filter for comma-separated values?

I would like to create a simple bibliographic database in Excel from a Word-based reference list.
For each bibliographic reference, there can be one or more authors.
Same author can appear in multiple articles, but also in different order/position in multi-authored publications.
I have attached a small example where the author names are comma-separated.
Question: I know how to filter by single author but how to filter by multiple authors, regardless their position or order in a comma-separated authors list? In other words how to treat each author as separate, filterable value? Say, I want to list all the papers authored/coauthored by Sue or Chris in my little example.reference list with authors
