I want to install Proxmox for my mini PC that’s currently on the road and I have NVMe drive that will be installed into it.
The problem is that I’m not that patient and want to install Proxmox now.
Will I encounter any problem if I will install it through another CPU? I have notebook on Ryzen 7 5800U on which I’m writing this question and my mini PC is on Ryzen 7 7840HS.
I’m 100% sure nothing bad will happen, but will Proxmox store configurations specifically for previous CPUs, or maybe some related files?
This question is more about having clean operation system, and I’m not that worried about the system logs.
Edit: Forgot to mention. I want install Proxmox through my notebook then swap my nvme drive from it to mini-pc
