Magento 2.3 we we click add to cart we get a success message but the shopping cart icon in top right corner of page does not update to show 1 item is in the cart. When hover over the shopping cart the mini cart drop down box shows empty.
When I look at exception.log or system.log I do not see any error that could cause this only error i see is related to search ›
Hopeing someone might have a suggestion on what would cause this. we have not made any edits to any of the cart or mini cart phtml or functionality files.
