Stuttering and intermittent LTE / 5G NSA cellular internet connection

I’m not networking savvy so please forgive the naive question…

I’m having a problem with my cellular broadband connection which is provided by a “Mikrotik Chateau 5G R17 ax” router. It has been very stable since its installation 9 months ago. I haven’t touched its configuration in many weeks. Yesterday I noticed some intermittent dropouts while in Teams calls which lasted a few seconds, but seemed to come and go periodically perhaps every minute or so.

I performed a firmware update on the router (latest at time of writing is 7.24.4) and rebooted it but the problem remains.

It’s not a showstopper by any means and I suspect it might be a cellular network problem, but is there anything I can do to improve matters at my end?

This graph rolls right to left in the “Winbox” management software for the router…

The gaps show the short dropouts happening intermittently but frequently. Signal strength is consistently high for both LTE and 5G NSA (small city in the UK) but the router seems to bounce between these two at random. For the first few months we only had LTE signal locally, but back in July a 5G signal became available and we’ve been enjoying 600+ megabit download speeds since.

Sometimes it stays on 4G for a few minutes at a time but this is rare…

And other times it’ll settle on 5G NSA and be solid, but only for a few minutes…

I’d rather have high, uninterrupted uptime as a priority over raw bandwidth. Is there a way to stop this issue?

UPDATE:

@grawity suggested increased logging on the router, here’s a fragment of the new messages…
