Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15IGL7, 8GB RAM, NVMe, NM-E791. A client brought in this laptop for me to diagnose and fix. They said it would just not randomly turn on. The power led comes on, and charger led when plugged in, but no display or logo showing. I went and downloaded the BIOS update from Lenovo’s website, extracted the .fd file, copied it over to a FAT32 formatted USB stick and tried crisis mode. No signs were being shown that anything was happening, only the power led stayed on and the charging led. I tried numerous combinations and methods, with no success.
