Why am I unable to change the RGB color of pre-installed case fans?

I recently got a Pro Gaming Banshee Black case that has 7 pre-installed RGB cooling fans and it has a controller in that back that came with a remote. (I am not tech savvy. I will try to explain myself as best as possible).

My friend helped me move my setup into the new case and I can in no way control the color of the fans. The LED button does not work at all when pressed (even though following the cable, it is connected to the Reset slot on the controller) and pressing buttons on the remote does not do anything. What could possibly be wrong?

All the fans are daisy chained to one another into 2 batches (3 bottom and 1 side fan into a chain and other 3 into another chain) and then plugged into the controller into ARGB and PWM. The MB slot on the controller is plugged into ARGB_V2_2 on the motherboard. There is a SATA cable connected to the PSU.

I don’t understand why I cannot change the color of the RGB. My Gigabyte app does not detect those fans at all. They do spin and have a somewhat static and glitchy color > some parts green, some blue, red and some sides don’t light up at all.
