I connect my monitor via USB-C to my laptop. When I connect my XPS 15 which runs Ubuntu it recognizes the keyboard and mouse inserted into the USB hub of the monitor just fine, but when I connect my Windows 11 HP ZBook Firefly it doesn’t do so. I installed HP Support Assistant, updated all the drivers and restarted the laptop and it worked once, however the next time I tried it didn’t work at all again.
I have no idea how to resolve this and haven’t found any discussions about this. People mentioned some Thunderbolt software from Intel that is no longer downloadable on Windows 11, and LLMs suggested I adjust some BIOS settings that don’t even exist.
