Connecting a Asus Router to a Cisco 2960G Switch (Manual Configuration)

Switch: Cisco 2960G

Router: Asus RT-AC66U

I’m really new to setting up networks with switches, and I’ve only recently begun to learn to configure switches, so please bear with me!

I’d like to manually set up the switch to connect to the router, how do I go about doing this if I want the ge 0/2 port to connect to the router and the 0/1 port to remain as the management port?

Someone mentioned setting both the port on the router and the switch as trunks, but I don’t know how to do that on an asus router. Any ideas?

Apologies if this was already asked, I couldn’t find this question in particular.
