Gorilla Group establishes the largest team of Magento-Certified developers in the industry.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 03, 2013
Gorilla Group, an award-winning commerce service provider, has announced they have reached a milestone within the Magento community, with 25 members of their development team now officially designated as Certified Magento Developers. The mark firmly establishes Gorilla as the worldwide leader in Magento certifications and underscores the company’s commitment to bringing the best resources to their clients operating on the fast-growing Magento Enterprise platform.
“Building the world’s largest team of Magento Certified developers is a great accomplishment for our entire company,” said Chris O’Connell, Director of Engineering at Gorilla Group. “The certification program has given us the opportunity to clearly demonstrate our expertise with the Magento platform, much of which has been gained from real-world experience in launching over five dozen Magento Enterprise sites.”
The Magento Certification program was established in 2011 as part of Magento U to provide a means for experienced Magento developers to validate their skills. Broken down into two certification tracks, Certified Developer and Certified Developer Plus, the exams provide an objective means to test a developer’s knowledge of the platform.
As a Magento Gold Solution Partner, Gorilla is committed to demonstrating its unquestioned expertise in working with Magento. “We’ve amassed a wealth of Magento-specific knowledge in our years of working with the Enterprise platform,” O’Connell said. “This puts us in a position not only to attract new Magento developers to our team but to provide our clients with the skilled resources necessary to build performance-driven, functionally enhanced Magento sites.”
Gorilla’s Magento-Certified developers are deployed across two teams—development and post-launch managed services, with 18 Certified, and 7 Plus Certified developers. Gorilla plans to build on this significant accomplishment by continuing its program to achieve full certification across its entire development team.
