The majority of my default keyboard shortcuts in Microsoft Word 2016 have been changed to that of my default keyboard layout Colemak Mod-DH. Two really annoying examples, shown from a QWERTY perspective, are:
- Copy is now Ctrl + X (X is
Cin my layout) - Save is now Ctrl + D (D is
Sin my layout)
I went to File -> Options -> Customize Ribbon -> Keyboard shortcuts: Customize... and attempted to click Reset All... but it was greyed out. I tried manually changing a keyboard shortcut (which ungreyed it) and then clicking Reset All... but it just went back to the incorrect keys.
Microsoft Word is the only program effected in my Microsoft Office installation (and entire computer).
It seems strange since Colemak Mod-DH has been my default keyboard layout for a while and not caused issues before. Also keyboard shortcuts, regardless of layout, are normally in their QWERTY positions.
How can this be fixed?
