Does any CPU and Chipset combination support TPM 2.0?

My exact setup is not important to this question as I have various old systems around. I have checked the motherboard for each one and the manuals don’t give any version, let alone 1.2 or 2.0 only. I have a split between 14 and 20 pin versions. In all cases the motherboards support UEFI and GPT. The reason for the question is that products like this from msi list chipsets but this from asus do not. When I went to Intel and AMD websites for chipset compatibility I don’t see mentions of TPM unless the chips have fTPM onboard. This makes me think that either 1.2 or 2.0 will work with any motherboard.

The reason for the question is I want to try Windows 11 preview on some test machines. These don’t currently have TPM installed…and the CPU’s are old enough to not have fTPM. I don’t want to order many units as there is a shortage due to the TPM/Windows 11 announcement. I have seen the work arounds online, but I have a general rule against replacing system DLL’s with ones from the internet.
